No-Dig Drain Lining in Glasgow

No-dig drain lining, also called CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) or patch lining, repairs a damaged drain from the inside. A resin-impregnated liner is fed into the pipe and cured in place, forming a new, structurally sound pipe inside the old one. No garden, driveway or slabs get disturbed.

The alternative is excavation: digging up whatever sits above the damaged section to physically replace the pipe. That means a trench through your garden, a broken-up driveway, or lifted slabs, plus the reinstatement afterwards. No-dig lining skips all of that for the majority of jobs where the host pipe is still structurally present.

ClearFlow only recommends lining once a CCTV survey has confirmed exactly where the damage is and what caused it. David and Chris explain the footage, show you the options, and give a fixed, written quote before any work starts. No guessing, no unnecessary digging.

Signs you need no-dig drain lining

  • A drain that keeps re-blocking at the same point despite repeated clearing

  • CCTV survey has confirmed a cracked joint, root ingress point or displaced section

  • Want to avoid a trench through a driveway, patio or landscaped garden

  • Roots have entered the drain through a joint and keep coming back after jetting

  • Commercial property needs a repair with minimal disruption to trading or tenants

Our process

  1. 1

    CCTV survey first

We confirm exactly where the damage is and whether lining is the right fix before quoting anything. See our CCTV Drain Survey service.

  2. 2

    Fixed price confirmed in writing

Once the survey is done, you get a written quote for the lining work. No surprises once the job starts.

  3. 3

    Pipe prepared and cleaned

The damaged section is jetted and cleaned to give the resin liner a clean surface to bond to.

  4. 4

    Liner fed in and cured

A resin-impregnated liner is fed into the pipe from the access point and cured in place, forming a new structural pipe wall inside the old one.

  5. 5

    Camera-verified finish

We run the CCTV camera through the lined section to confirm the repair, so you see the finished result, not just take our word for it.

Common causes

When No-Dig Lining Is the Right Fix

Lining is not the answer to every drain problem, and we tell you honestly when it isn't. It works when the host pipe is still structurally present but damaged, which covers most of the jobs a CCTV survey turns up.

Cracked or fractured joints

The most common reason for lining in Glasgow's older tenement drainage. The liner seals the crack and restores structural strength.

Root ingress through a joint

The joint that let the roots in is sealed by the liner, stopping them coming back through the same point.

Displaced or offset sections

Ground movement over decades displaces older clay and cast-iron joints. Lining restores a continuous, smooth bore.

Isolated cracks needing a spot repair

Patch lining fixes a short damaged section without lining the whole run, faster and cheaper where the damage is localised.

Good news: every one of these has a clean, proven fix, and we'll show you exactly what we found.

How we carry out no-dig lining

High-pressure water jetting to prepare and clean the damaged section before lining, ensuring the resin bonds properly to the pipe wall.

Resin-impregnated CIPP liners for full-length repairs, and patch-lining kits for isolated, localised damage that doesn't need the whole run relined.

HD CCTV cameras to confirm the damage before quoting and verify the finished repair afterwards, so the result is documented, not just described.

Transparent pricing

No call-out fee for the initial CCTV survey. The lining repair itself is quoted in writing once the survey confirms exactly what's needed.

No-dig lining typically costs less than excavation once you factor in the reinstatement of a driveway, patio or garden after a dig.

Fixed price agreed before any work starts.

Reviews

What Our Clients Say

Real reviews from Glasgow households and businesses we've helped.

"I had major issues with my drainage caused by ground movement. The ground had to be dug up and a new drainage system put in. This was done efficiently and to a very high standard, the workmen were legends, absolutely brilliant. My slabs were all put back exactly as they were before. I highly recommend this company."
